The 175 Watt Suntech Monocrystalline panels (Conergy S175M) are a premium product superior in quality to Bp and Sharp, in that they posess a stronger double skinned RHS frame, with refined finish and design and superior electrical characteristics allowing greater possibilities with inverter output. They generate a much higher wattage output for the same footprint as 155 Watt panels, and allow greater potential for roof space generation than Kaneka panels which are low wattage / large physical size panels, taking up unnessesarily large amounts of roof space for small wattage systems. - Just a few of the differences we have seen with our experience working with many panel brands. Monocrystalline panels are also more efficient than Polycrystalline panels. Refer to Suntech Specification brochure here. We offer installers a reliable service for the supply and delivery of Suntech products. Please contact us for pricing and to have stock allocated to you.
Solartec Renewables are Agents for Sunpower in the ACT & Southern NSW, to offer the very elegant 215 Watt (White backsheet) and 220 Watt (Black Backsheet) monocrystalline modules in the same footprint as 175W panels. This allows those with limited space to maximise their Feed In Tariff potential without the bulky size of other 200+ Watt modules which are typically door size! BECOME A SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE SOLUTION TO GLOBAL WARMING
Climate Change is occurring at an alarming rate. 70 Million Tonnes of CO2 is pumped into the atmosphere every day. Over 1 Kg of CO2 is produced for every Kilowatt hour (KWh) of coal energy consumed. SOLARTEC Grid Connect is the most significant way an individual can cut CO emissions immediately. Grid Connect Solar Power provides a lifetime of free renewable energy generation with no batteries or running costs, while spinning your meter backwards and turning your energy bills into credits.
The suburbs of Kambah and Queanbeyan are in the lead, March 2008, with the highest wattage of solar panels installed so far. People are saving up, getting low interest rate “Green Loans”, and making a huge effort in their contribution to the environment and their community. “I am delighted with the 18 photovoltaic panels I had installed by Solartec Renewables in December. Over a year they should average about double the electricity that I use thus generating green energy for uptake by others with minimal transmission loss. Dealing with Solartec Renewables was pleasant and easy and I was impressed with the amount of time Phil May spent helping me sort through the options.” – Julia Richards of Kambah said.
Join these residents and many others, and make your significant contribution now. Contact us to receive your Getting Started Grid Connect Pack with cost estimation chart showing you system sizes, generation capacities in Kilowatt hours (KWh) & how much CO2 you will be saving. ACT NOW AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE WITH $8000 REBATES AND HIGH REC'S The rapid uptake of Grid Connect systems across Australia since May 2007 has consumed much of the $8000 rebate funding. We can have your system rebate approved, allocated to you and up and running within 4 - 5 weeks of your order placement. The number of Solartec grid connect systems in Canberra has grown to over 200 Kilowatts of solar panels installed as at Jan. 08, already reducing Canberra’s carbon dioxide emissions by 480 Tonnes every year. This figure has increased dramatically from 42 Kilowatts of solar panels installed prior to the doubling of the Photovoltaic Rebate to $8000 in May 2007. It is very encouraging to see so many pro active residents joining us in the positive direction we are taking now against the Climate Change threat. THE ANSWER IS ON YOUR ROOF - SUSTAINABLE LIVING WITH SOLARTEC GRID CONNECT: 2007 has been an exciting time of change for Australia and Canberra in the renewable energy scene. Kevin Rudd and Peter Garrett launched Labor's solar plan late in March at one of Solartec's residential grid connect solar installations at Darwinia Terrace Chapman with Phil and Sophia of Solartec Renewables. Following this the Photovoltaic Rebate Programme was doubled to $8000 and there have been many local residents enjoying the benefits of their own roof top solar power stations already hard at work making a significant difference to saving carbon emissions. This is an exciting time to join others who have taken the responsible step of sustainable living with solar power. With a Grid Connect Photovoltaic system installed, solar energy is collected on your roof and fed into the electricity grid while your meter runs backwards and your electricity bills are greatly reduced. This maximises your energy efficiency while minimising your use of harmful coal fired energy. Visit our FAQ's page to learn more. Australians are the largest energy consumers per capita in the world, and in the Canberra Region we have 1/3 more sun irradiation levels than in Europe, which can be so easily harnessed. Now is the time for each household to consider the impact they are having on climate change and to be responsible for their own energy consumption, to start living sustainably and become energy efficient.
We are fortunate in the Canberra Region to have very high U.V irradiation levels compared to the rest of Australia and the world, an advantage which many residents are already enjoying while producing their own green energy! The ACT SOLAR PREMIUM: The Feed in Tariff example for the whole of Australia to effectively combat Climate Change Mick Gentleman, Labour MLA for Brindabella (ACT) has proposed the new "Solar Premium" Feed in Tariff law for the ACT, enabling Canberra residents to enjoy the proven benefits of the German model, being paid 3.88 times the retail electricity rate per KWH for solar energy produced from dawn to dusk and fed into the electricity network Similar Feed in Tariff schemes have been implemented in over 38 countries around the world rewarding clean energy producers. It is seen as a step in the right direction for the rapid up take of embedded Grid Connect solar generation systems - P.V on existing rooftops, where the infrastructure is already there! After much consultation over the past year, the law has been approved in principle in ACT Labour caucus. It has been tabled and is expected to be passed in the March 2008 sittings of Parliament. The Rudd govt. has expressed support for a national Feed in Tariff. Phil and Sophia of Solartec Renewables attended the recent series of Public Forum Sessions held in Canberra, with their interactive Grid Connect solar information stand on display.
HOW MUCH ENERGY ARE YOU USING EVERY DAY?
Each average household of 3 people consumes 21 Kilowatt hrs per day in NSW & ACT, and contributes to over 8 Tonnes of harmful CO2 emissions every year. We are finding a large number of people have a daily energy consumption of 40 + KW hours every day and excessive electricity bills to match. Electricity charges are already in excess of 19 cents per Kilowatt hour in our region, and suppliers are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with demand, resulting in blackouts when too many air conditioners are switched on during hot days. Each renewable energy grid connect household reduces electricity transmission losses in their local area, cuts their bills and receive payment for excess power generated.
KNOW YOUR ENERGY IS GREEN BY PRODUCING IT YOURSELF & REDUCE YOUR ENERGY CONSUMPTION! A Grid Connect Solar System installed by Solartec Renewables is a great way to improve your consumption, along with more energy efficient practices. Contact Us to receive your Solartec Renewable's Getting Started Grid Connect Pack and contribute to a sustainable future. Be aware of your large electricity loads. The Kilowatt hours (KWh) shown on your electricity bill is the result of the Wattage of your appliances / Light bulbs(W) x length of time they are on, in hours per day. Minimise or cut out your use of high energy consumption items such as: In Slab Heating; Air Conditioning; Electric Heaters; Plasma T.V's; Halogen Downlights; High Wattage Light Bulbs, Continuous pumps, Items always on standby.
